This service is provided jointly by Switch Together and Capture Energy. Switch Together helps residents come together and buy sustainable home solutions; Capture provides the AI software that optimises your battery's charging and discharging to increase savings on your electricity bill.

Why should I optimise my battery with Capture AI?

A system installed by Switch Together and optimised with Capture AI saves more off your bills than a standard solar and battery system. You benefit from Switch Together's installation quality and Capture’s smart software, giving you a shorter payback period and more long-term savings.

Is this approved by Fox ESS?

Yes, Capture Energy is an official software partner for Fox ESS batteries. You can see the details of the partnership on Fox's Website here.

Does Capture AI cost anything?

No, Capture AI is completely free of charge for Switch Together's customers and you can opt out at any time. We optimise your battery’s charging and discharging based on your electricity tariff - those savings show up directly on your bill and they are 100% yours.

Some batteries are eligible to participate in other electricity markets to earn additional revenues, however, homeowners themselves can't access these without Capture, so we take a share of those earnings. This allows us to offer optimisation on your tariff free of charge.

Do I need to switch supplier to use Capture AI?

No, you can stay with your current supplier. We might recommend a tariff, if we see that there is a combination of import and export electricity tariffs that increases your savings.

How can Capture integrate with my battery?

Capture connects directly to your battery via the manufacturer’s API. That means no extra hardware is needed - we securely manage your inverter and battery.
